Adam qualified as a solicitor with an LLB (Hons) degree from the University of Glasgow in 2006 and subsequently trained at Maclay Murray & Spens LLP (MMS), one of the premier law firms in Scotland. Following completion of his training contract, Adam was retained as a lawyer by MMS, in their litigation team, where he remained for four years.
During his time at MMS, Adam commenced an IP Law Masters (specialising in Sports and Media Law) at the University of London, from which he graduated with a Merit award in early 2016. As part of the licensing work, Adam was the sole lawyer dealing with the unique IMG/UEFA relationship in respect of all merchandise licensing agreements for UEFA Euro 2016.
Adam joined Perform Group from IMG in 2015, and played a major role in Perform launching their new OTT product, DAZN, in each of Japan and Germany in the summer of 2016.
