Dugout has, today, announced the launch of its new Premium service providing the leading football media company’s global fanbase with exclusive content and its partner network with unrivalled insights into the modern football fan.
Dugout’s global audience will have access to the Premium service via Dugout.com, the Dugout App and the Embed player – currently hosted by more than 120 of the world’s premium media publishers including Sports Illustrated, Le Figaro, beIN, The Independent, Bild, O Globo and Kooora.
With only three clicks and registration completely free of charge via its customer identity management partner Strivacity, fans will be able to view exclusive premium content from its partners including in some territories full live matches. Theincreased volume of video content available will enable publishing partners to provide a more personalised experience and supplement Dugout’s existing behind-the-scenes and archive footage.
Incorporated within Dugout FanPro™, the company’s unique fan profiling platform, this Premium content offering will provide Dugout’s partners with a comprehensive, start-to-finish user journey, tracking fans’ consumption patterns and viewing behaviours. Brands and advertising partners will have access to unrivalled data-led insights with enriched fan profiles – paired with individual IDs – to underpin targeted placement of content campaigns.
The launch of the new Premium service supports recent findings from Dugout’s ‘Navigating Video: Monetization, brand safety and data-driven strategies in a post-cookie world’ report, conducted in conjunction with Digiday. When asking publishers, agencies and brands about their views on the state of video, 94% of publishers and 90% of advertisers are actively considering contextual targeting options following recent efforts to phase out third-party cookies – reinforcing the relevance of Dugout’s FanPro™ and Premium products.
